About Me
Hello!
My name is Kate, and I have always been enthralled by our natural environment, and what we can do to protect it. I am an aspiring conservationist, and as I approach the end of my studies, I face the same daunting task as many other students – breaking into the conservation sector.
While the main aim of my blog is to offer a balanced view of important conservation debates, I plan to take you along in my early-career journey. I hope that both my setbacks and successes will be useful for others in the same position, and those looking for perspective into this industry.
So far, my passion for conservation has taken me to many places, from the glaciers of Norway, to remote islands, to sand dune ecosystems, all the while gaining valuable skills to do what I love.
